Nepalese History

Here is a short history of Nepal.

After Yaksha Malla passed away, the valley was separated to Kathmandu that was named as Kantipur. Similarly, Bhaktapur was named Bhadgaon and finally Patan was named as Lalitpur. Jung Bahadur Rana also ruled Nepal for quite some time.

The kingdom of Nepal commenced in 1768. Then on 2008, the 240 year old monarch was abolished.

There is history of Buddhist and Lord Buddha. We also have the Kirati and Lichhavi era. Mallas also ruled Nepal for a while.

Then we also had the Shah Kings in Nepalese History. Late King Birendra ruled until his demise in the Royal Family Masscare. Then we had Former King Gyanendra shah.
