Kirtipur

This place is considered the oldest human settlement in the valley. This place is also considered as an ancient capital of the country. This place is called home by the Newari people.

The Kirtipur Municipality is a section of the Kathmandu district. And is only 5 kilometers from the main capital.

This place also has temples and is rich in Gumbas and Churches.
